Your fake apology is enough

Together we conspire. Together we deceive – Indiscipline, Intolerance, Division.

The ignoble display of Trinidadians and Tobagonians who are content to sow seeds of discontent and supplant themselves in the affairs of another country hearkens to the pervading culture of ignorance that for decades, if not centuries, has permeated the psyche of the people of a paradise lost – a people annulled from any form of national, cultural and social identity.

And the propensity to consume all that is American because everything American is good is the loose, singular, capitalist thread that keeps Trinidadians and Tobagonians dangling from the underwear encompassing Uncle Sam’s anus.

You are the product of five hundred years of conditioning that have rendered your children godless, soulless, and ill-equipped with the emotional, spiritual or even common intelligence to engage the real enemy in any capacity.

You have devolved into a modern-day commonwealth cesspool of crime, corruption, cronyism, conformists, cowards, white-collar criminals, cronies, cliques, and culturally clueless c#nts who cling to the colonial construct of your ‘conquerors’, and bereft of the cognitive capacity necessary to break free from the mental chains of ignorance that have constrained your progress.

And the only way to cope is to confine your citizens to a constant state of inebriation induced by the debilitating effects of Carnival, Soca and alcohol because without these self-imposed vices we will implode.

Yes, you have displayed to the world that you are nothing more than ‘party people’ who cannot march or protest in the absence of a bottle and spoon, or rather a discarded metal car brake drum and beater.

Woe unto you Trinidad and Tobago for your people still suffer from the deep and dark vestiges of slavery, indentureship and colonialism.

Permit me to convey the mindset of a slave master and that of someone who is mentally enslaved.

The slave master:

In the now locally infamous Season 9, Episode 7 of the late Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown, a member of the Sabga family is filmed as saying that Syrians are the most powerful [ethnic group] in Trinidad and Tobago.

The slave:

Amid the call from various segments of local society to boycott the Syrians, the resounding response from the slaves was that a boycott does not engender resolve because after the government, the Syrians are the largest employer of ‘black’ people.

UHM… THAT WAS THE POINT.

The rank and file is content to sleepwalk through life as opposed to waking up from their centuries-long slumber and embrace the freedom of empowerment that resides in the awareness that true power rests in the collective consciousness of the people and not the establishment.

The fact is that the majority of Trinidadians and Tobagonians, particularly those of African descent, love oppression and more so, they love their ‘oppressors’.

And not unlike incarcerated souls, you are the product of institutionalized racism reinforced by your religious, educational, political, and social institutions.

You acquiesce to the rites of religious institutions that uphold man-made rituals far removed from any semblance of spirituality or the philosophy on which all religions are premised. We must “forgive and forget” because for the vast majority your salvation lies in the belief of a fictional, Caucasian, blue-eyed Jesus (Please refer to the framed picture hanging in your house). And the only way to overcome is to sing hymns and submit to the will of your god who ironically, granted you free will.

Your children are the offspring of non-prestigious prestigious schools that miseducate young men and women into the divisive thinking that they are better than others. Convents that teach young women to become pompous females who feign feminism yet encourage them to marry well. Secondary schools that proclaim themselves colleges, and pacify young men and teach them to earn enough money so that they can purchase the affections of their convent counterparts.

And because you share the same alma mater, you blindly support your ‘oppressors’ because you were friends in school, and the tenets of your alumni association stipulate that classism, cronyism and nepotism is the only way to succeed in life even if at the detriment of your own people.

You are the recipients of hand outs, clamouring for the leftovers from ‘massa’s’ table. Much like the misplaced loyalty of the plebs of political parties who pledge their unwavering support, and trade their morals and dignity for lies, a free t-shirt and a free maxi-ride to a propaganda rally.

Your children are the offspring of parents who sow seeds of division, water them with prejudice, and nurture them with hate to ensure the preservation of the legacy of racism.

You are fatherless daughters raised by scorned women who teach you that all men are dogs but women are not bitches.

You are young women raised by fathers who spoil you with the incestuous thinking that you desire to marry a man like your father negating the fact that anything spoiled belongs in the garbage.

You are fatherless sons raised by ‘helicopter’ mothers who continue to feed and burp you, and change your diaper into manhood, so that even in marriage you call for your mother in times of ailment and distress.

You are emasculated men who have swapped places with your female counterparts, so that you now compete for time in the mirror to ensure that your monthly manicures, pedicures and facials surpasses that of your brethren.

Woe unto you people of African descent. Your conditioning was calculated and complete. Your slave masters succeeded in erasing any traces of the original man who laid the foundations of modern civilization (Africans, not the Greeks).

You are part and parcel of the same lineage of self-hatred that birthed and bred the likes of Americans Omarosa and Candace Owens.

Most notably are those clowns who: adorned themselves with makeup and costumes made with ‘African’-print fabric produced in China; greeted each other by forming an ‘X’ with their arms across their chest, pumping their shoulders in response to a silent call; took their hard-earned money and gave it away to a cinema owned by racists; watched a fictional movie with fictional characters created by your ‘oppressors’; and called it ‘black’ empowerment.

The same psyche that compels African-Americans to unhesitatingly take each other’s life and acquiesce to their racist, Caucasian ‘masters’ is as much the same psyche that compels Afro-Trinidadians and Tobagonians to overlook Afro-Trinidadian and Tobagonian-owned businesses and unhesitatingly support their racist Syrian, Chinese, East Indian, and other non-African ‘masters’.

And my businesses and I are a testimony of that psyche. Hell, not even my former family members supported my businesses and I.

Can you guess how many of my ‘family’, ‘friends’, ‘colleagues’, or ‘acquaintances’ supported or shared posts about my business ventures?

Can you guess how many of my ‘family’, ‘friends’, ‘colleagues’, or ‘acquaintances’ continue to support or share posts about businesses owned by people who care nothing for their wellbeing but for their pockets?

Woe unto the culturally clueless c#nts in Trinidad and Tobago who uphold the “All Lives Matter” banner.

FEAR NOT. YOUR FAKE APOLOGY IS ENOUGH.

Even though you care naught for the people, predominantly those of African descent, who support your businesses, and who have afforded you the money and lifestyle that you enjoy, rest assured that a simple ‘sorry’ is all it takes for the fickle mob of Trinidadians and Tobagonians to quickly forget the sins of their ‘oppressors’.

Finally, to the Afro-Trinidadians and Tobagonians calling for a boycott of your racist counterparts.

For all the reasons outlined herein, Y’ALL AIN’T BOYCOTTING SHIT!

In the words of Winston Churchill who paraphrased George Santayana: “Those who fail to learn from history are condemned to repeat it.”

Wake the f#@k up!
